Poblacion neighbourhood (15 min walk from most Makati hotels): craft cocktails & rooftop views for those with energy after long international flight. Keep reserves though — tomorrow is a full historic day. Overnight Manila.

Best Time to Visit

Boracay ideal Oct–May. Nov–Apr: most dependable sunshine & calmest White Beach conditions. Jun–Sep rainy season — west-facing White Beach can experience rough surf, boat activities disrupted. Dec–Mar: flattest seas & most spectacular sunsets for Party Boat Cruise. Ati-Atihan Festival in January brings cultural colour. Busiest Dec–Feb — book months in advance.

What to Pack

Multiple swimsuits (Days 3 & 4 mostly in or near water); beach cover-up & sandals for beach-to-restaurant transitions; reef-safe SPF50+ sunscreen (chemical sunscreen prohibited in many Boracay reef areas); modest attire for Manila church visit (shoulders & knees covered); GoPro or underwater camera (Party Boat crew provides one, but your own is better); PHP Peso cash for beach vendors, market stalls & tips; seasickness medication if island hopping sea is choppy; light jacket for Manila evenings & air-conditioned hotel lobbies; Type A/B universal adapter 220V; quality waterproof sandals for both White Beach walks & Manila street touring.
