Best Time to Visit

Dry season May–October best for full itinerary. Lempuyang's Gate of Heaven frames Gunung Agung most clearly in dry-season light. May, June & September: excellent conditions, manageable crowds. July–August: peak season (European, Australian & Indian school holidays). April–May ideal for Indian families. Nusa Penida crossings rough Dec–Feb (wet season); East Bali road closures possible for temple ceremonies — TRIPGULLAK coordinator monitors and re-routes.
