Best Time to Visit

Dry Season (Nov–May): Ideal for travel. Clear skies, calm seas, vibrant festivals. December and January are particularly pleasant. Wet Season (Jun–Oct): Typhoon season. Travel is possible but expect rain. Palawan and Cebu are more sheltered but can still be affected. Recommendation: October through early May is the sweetest window for a Philippines multi-destination trip. November through February combines the dry season with Christmas and New Year festival energy. March and April offer superb weather with slightly fewer crowds.

What to Pack

Lightweight breathable clothing (linen/moisture-wicking) | Modest cover-ups for church visits (shoulders & knees covered) | Comfortable walking shoes for cobblestone streets and heritage sites | Reef-safe sunscreen SPF 50+ | Waterproof sandals/flip-flops for boat tours | Small dry bag/waterproof pouch for boat days | Insect repellent (especially for Palawan mangroves & firefly tours) | Portable power bank | Universal adapter (Type A/B, 220V) | Light rain jacket or compact umbrella | Prescription medications and basic first-aid kit | Copies of passport, travel insurance, and emergency contacts
